Zach LaVine has been a willing participant in offseason activities with the Chicago Bulls. Despite all workouts and player-organized minicamps being voluntary, LaVine has been a willing participant, despite previously requesting a trade.

The Bulls gathered in Miami last month for informal workouts. LaVine was a full participant in those workouts before having to leave for personal reasons. Earlier this month, LaVine joined his teammates in Chicago for workouts ahead of training camp opening next week.

The veteran guard is buying into what the Bulls are building, even as both LaVine and the team continue to work on trade options. In offseason conversations with head coach Billy Donovan, LaVine has reportedly promised that he won’t overstep or stunt the development of younger players.
