Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and heiress to the organization has stated that Patrick Mahomes had already approved of her new boyfriend while confirming her relationship with former college football quarterback Cody Keith.
Mahomes and Keith have known each other since playing college football, attending quarterback camps together while the former had been with Texas Tech and Keith with East Carolina.
A career in the sport never quite took off for Keith, going to attempt just 11 passes with the school as a back-up quarterback as Mahomes went on to become one of the greats in college football before becoming a first-round draft pick by the Chiefs, with Hunt insinuating that he had given the greenlight when she had begun her relationship with him.
In an interview with Outkick,, Hunt said of Keith: “He grew up playing football and he and Patrick actually trained together out of college. They had a pre-existing friendship. And it is just so funny how small the world is. They have been buddies this whole time and it took him all this time to meet me.
“We are grateful that we can easily travel to see each other [Keith]. He has made a huge effort to come to the games this year which has been so much fun to get to share football season with him.”
While Keith had spent times with NFL rosters in training camps, being with the Baltimore Ravens, Indianapolis Colts, and Washington Commanders for short periods, he went on to become a real estate agents after graduating.
He now is a co-owner of The Keith Corporation (TKC), a family real estate business located in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is believed to have begun a relationship with Hunt at the beginning of 2024.
Hunt has been a social media star over the last few years with over 580,000 followers on Instagram, often being spotted at Chiefs games. The former Miss Kansas USA winner is an heiress to the Clark family’s $24.8 billion fortune, set to own the franchise in the future while being the eldest child of Clark Hunt and Tavia Shackles.
