Introducing Cotton, the feline who was discovered blind and lost in the wild. After being rescued, there came a day when he finally opened his eyes, astonishing everyone. “Gradually, he began to put on some weight. It was a delightful surprise to see that he had one eye that was blue, and the other was yellow. His fur started growing back,” Carmen Weinberg, the founder of Animal Friends Project, shared with Love Meow regarding Cotton’s remarkable transformation.
This adorable kitty was found roaming the streets in Royal Palm Beach, FL. A man who came across Cotton mentioned that the cat seemed to appear out of nowhere and voraciously ate from the food bowl, as if he hadn’t eaten for days.
This gentleman posted on Facebook seeking help for the cat, leading Weinberg to step in. “The following morning, I hurried to fetch him. I promptly took him to my vet… and it was confirmed that he was dealing with mange.”
Mange was the exact reason why the poor kitty couldn’t open his eyes, but Weinberg was determined to help him recover. Now, Cotton is a healthy and beautiful cat! Meanwhile, Weinberg is dedicated to finding this affectionate feline, who loves being around people, a forever loving home.

I quickly brought him to my vet, and after examining him, they diagnosed him with mange.
Weinberg came to the kitty’s rescue, providing the necessary assistance, and finally, Cotton’s eyes revealed their newfound sight one day.
“It was quite a pleasant shock to discover that he sported a unique combination of a blue eye and a yellow eye.”
After receiving treatment for the mange, the cat’s eyesight returned, and now Cotton is a thriving and stunning feline.
