NFL action will once again grace Christmas Day with Netflix becoming the global home of America’s most popular sport.
With Christmas games having first been introduced to the NFL in 1971, they became a semi-regular occurrence in 1989 and are now among the most anticipated games throughout the regular season.
Four teams have the honour of taking to the field on December 25, with Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs travelling to take on Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Texans hosting the Baltimore Ravens.

Netflix’s association with the NFL goes back to their hit series ‘Quarterback’ in 2023 with the streaming platform extending their relationship with the league by broadcasting one NFL game on Christmas per year until 2026.
Football fans will certainly get their money’s worth this month with two Christmas games slated to be shown on Netflix. Mirror US Sport has all the information on hand for those wanting to tune in on the festive day.
How to watch the games on Christmas Day?
You’ll need to first subscribe to Netflix and log into your account to watch the two games. The NFL Christmas games are included on all plans so any subscriber is able to tune in. Alongside Netflix screening the games, fans will be able to watch local broadcasts on television in the markets of each of the home and away teams playing.
Additionally, the games will be broadcast locally on television in each of the home and away team markets, for their respective games. The games can be watched from several devices with fans able to stream the fixtures on mobile with an NFL+ subscription, which is available through the NFL mobile app.

What time are the games and will there be any pregame or postgame shows?
The first game of NFL Christmas will see the reigning champions Kansas City Chiefs put their 13-1 record on the line against the 10-4 Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium. The game will kick off at 1pm (ET) with pregame coverage beginning at 11am (ET).
The second and final game of the day will see the Houston Texans host the Baltimore Ravens, with both teams possessing a 9-5 record coming into the game. Following the Chiefs and Steelers clash, the game will kick off at 4:30pm (ET) with pregame coverage beginning at 4pm.
Postgame coverage will commence following the conclusion of the second fixture.
Who will perform at the halftime show?
The music goddess Beyonce will perform a special Christmas show in her hometown of Houston when the Texans host the Ravens.
Having previously performed at the Super Bowl in 2013 and 2016, this will mark the first time the 43-year-old will sing songs from her most recent album ‘Cowboy Carter’ live.
