Gene Simmons is set to rock the stage as a guest judge on Dancing with the Stars!

The legendary KISS frontman will join judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough for the much-anticipated “Hair Metal” night on October 8. This special episode will see the 11 dancing pairs take the floor with electrifying routines inspired by classic rock anthems.

Kicking off the night, the professional dancers will dazzle the audience with an opening performance to Simmons’ band KISS’s iconic hit “Rock and Roll All Nite.” Choreographed by pro dancer Pasha Pashkov, the performance will also feature guitarist Joel Hoekstra from Whitesnake, adding even more star power to the event.

As the excitement builds for this rock-themed episode, judge and former pro Hough will be coaching the dancers on the essential lifts and tricks needed to bring their performances to life in true rock ‘n’ roll style!

The star-studded lineup includes Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy, Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach, Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart, and Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber, all gearing up to take on the dramatic Paso Doble.

For the upbeat Jive, we’ll see Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong alongside Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten bringing their best moves. Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko, along with Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater, will be shaking things up with a lively Cha Cha. Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold are ready to steal the spotlight as the only couple performing a Foxtrot, while Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson will take a bold approach with a Tango.

Get ready for some classic rock hits! Danny and Whitney will be dancing to Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer,” while Phaedra and Val will deliver a show-stopping routine to another Bon Jovi classic, “You Give Love a Bad Name.” Dwight and Daniella have chosen Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way,” and Eric and Britt are serving up some nostalgia with “Cherry Pie” by Warrant. Jenn and Sasha will keep the energy high with their performance of the iconic “The Final Countdown” by Europe.
