Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI), just hours after participating in the Rams’ “Sunday Night Football” matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to TMZ Sports, Robinson was pulled over by police while allegedly driving over 100 mph on a Los Angeles freeway. He was driving a white Dodge sedan when officers noticed the excessive speed and made the stop. The incident took place in the early hours of Monday, shortly after the Rams’ 37-20 loss to the Eagles at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
During the stop, officers reported that Robinson exhibited “signs of impairment,” which raised their suspicions of intoxication.
Despite these observations, Robinson refused to take a field sobriety test at the scene. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and transported to a nearby police station.
Robinson was cited and later released to a responsible party. The arrest and related details were later confirmed by NFL Media.

Robinson has been an important contributor to the Rams’ offense this season. Through 11 games, he has recorded 384 receiving yards and leads the team with six touchdown receptions. He also ranks third on the team in targets, with 50, trailing only Cooper Kupp (77) and Puka Nacua (53). In Sunday’s game against the Eagles, Robinson caught two passes for 15 yards, including a touchdown.
This incident adds to what has been a tumultuous season for the Rams, who are dealing with both on-field struggles and off-field distractions. Robinson’s situation is likely to attract the attention of both team officials and the NFL as they assess potential disciplinary actions.
The league has a history of taking DUI charges seriously, and Robinson may face consequences under the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
The Rams have yet to release an official statement regarding Robinson’s arrest, and it remains unclear if this incident will impact his availability for the team’s upcoming games.
As one of the team’s top red-zone targets, any absence could significantly affect the Rams’ offensive game plan. Robinson’s six receiving touchdowns lead the team, and his contributions have been crucial in key moments throughout the season.
Robinson’s arrest also highlights the broader issues of player conduct off the field, especially in situations where their actions can impact not only their careers but also the team’s performance and public image.
Fans and analysts alike will be watching closely as more details emerge, and as the Rams decide how to handle this delicate situation moving forward.
