Jordan Love stepped up during the Green Bay Packers’ 24-22 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday.
With the Packers trailing by one point and less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Love led the team on a drive that ended with a game-winning 45-yard field goal by Brandon McManus.
It wasn’t a flawless performance from the signal-caller, but he made enough plays to help Green Bay hand Houston its second loss of the season. Love finished 24-of-33 for 220 yards and three touchdowns to go along with two interceptions.
Love spread the ball around, completing passes to eight different receivers. Romeo Doubs was his top target, hauling in eight receptions for 95 yards.
Fans were impressed with Love’s performance.
The Packers’ defense also looked sharp against C.J. Stroud, limiting him to a season-low 86 pass yards. Stroud was also sacked four times, while Houston mustered just 197 yards of offense.
Green Bay won its third consecutive game with Love back under center, improving to 5-2.
