Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce, are preparing to welcome their fourth child, but this time they’re leaning toward a “gender-neutral” name for their baby, set to arrive in early 2025. During the Thursday episode of her podcast, Not Gonna Lie, Kylie opened up about the challenges of naming a fourth child after already naming three daughters.
“Going on fourth, it’s like a disaster,” she admitted with a laugh. “You’ve already used all your favorites. All bets are off at this point.”
The couple, who have been married since 2018, are parents to Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1. Kylie explained that they’ve started exploring names that are more gender-neutral to complement their older children’s names.
“We’re leaning toward names that can work for anyone,” Kylie said. “If we go all in on a super-girly name, it might not sit well with the other three when they’re older. I can just imagine them saying, ‘Why does the new baby get the cute girly name, and we didn’t?’”
The Kelces almost went with a gender-neutral name for their first daughter. “We debated Charlie for Wyatt,” Kylie revealed. “I loved the name, but within six months, three of our friends named their kids Charlie, and we thought, ‘Well, that’s out.’ Wyatt is such a Wyatt now, but Charlie still has a special place in my heart.”

A New Chapter for the Kelce Family
Kylie announced her fourth pregnancy in November 2024 with a heartwarming Instagram post featuring her three daughters in matching “Big Sister” sweaters. The photo captured each child’s unique reaction to the news. Wyatt looked annoyed, covering her ears, Elliotte beamed with excitement, and Bennett appeared on the verge of tears.
In recent podcast episodes, Kylie has shared more about how her daughters are adjusting to the idea of another sibling. While Wyatt and Elliotte seem to be taking the news in stride, Bennett, their youngest, has been less than thrilled.
“When I tell you that Bennie feels deeply and personally victimized by this decision, I mean it with my whole chest,” Kylie joked on a December 2024 episode of her podcast. “She has not come around. Not even a little.”
The territorial tendencies Bennett has displayed have added an extra layer of humor to the situation. “If another baby or little kid tries to sit in my lap, she physically removes them,” Kylie shared. “We’re about to ruin her whole world, and she knows it.”
Preparing for the Future
Despite the sibling drama, the Kelces are excited about the new addition to their growing family. Jason, a retired NFL star and fan-favorite former Philadelphia Eagles center, has been vocal about how much he loves being a dad.
Kylie has also expressed how meaningful motherhood has been for her, even with the inevitable chaos of a growing household. “It’s hectic, and we’re outnumbered now,” she said. “But it’s the kind of chaos we wouldn’t trade for the world.”
As they inch closer to welcoming baby number four, Kylie says they’re keeping an open mind about names and are enjoying the process. “It’s a challenge, but it’s also fun to think about the kind of person this new little one will grow up to be,” she said. “Gender-neutral or not, we just want the name to feel right.”
