Prime Video’s latest adrenaline-pumping thriller series, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, is a follow-up to the hit action thriller starring Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch.
Guardians of the Galaxy star Pratt led the first season as Lieutenant Commander James Reece, a Navy SEAL who begins to question his actions after surviving a devastating ambush.
By the end of the first season, he uncovers a chilling conspiracy working against him and makes a shocking revelation.
While the series has been renewed for a second mainline season, Dark Wolf takes the franchise in an unexpected new direction as it’s a prequel series focusing on Kitsch’s character, Chief Special Warfare Operator Ben Edwards, reports the Mirror.

What is The Terminal List: Dark Wolf about?
This is your final spoiler warning as the first season of The Terminal List ended with a game-changing twist that sets the stage for the new prequel.
After the brutal murder of Reece’s family and the death of the other survivor of the ambush, Reece becomes determined to root out and kill anyone involved in the plot.
In a shocking twist, it turns out his close friend and former teammate Edwards was involved, leading to his death in the season finale.
Dark Wolf will rewind the timeline to expose Edwards’ history, including his enlistment into the CIA and how he got entangled in the plot against Reece.
An official synopsis keeps story details limited but describes it as “a prequel series with an origin story that follows Ben Edwards throughout his journey from the Navy SEALs to the clandestine side of CIA Special Operations.
“The series is an espionage thriller that explores the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it.”
Who is in the cast of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf?
Taylor Kitsch is, of course, back to lead the series as Ben Edwards, with Chris Pratt returning as James Reece.
Fans may expect some familiar faces from the first season to make appearances, but, apart from the two leads, it will mostly feature a brand new cast, including:
David DiGilio is also returning to the prequel as showrunner.
When will The Terminal List: Dark Wolf be released?
Prime Video viewers just have a few days longer to wait as the series is premiering on Wednesday, 27th August.
Three episodes of the seven-part series will be released at first, making for an ideal mini-binge on Wednesday night, or you can space them out over the week.
New episodes will then continue to drop every Wednesday until 24th September.
