Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is taking his talents beyond the football field and into the entertainment industry. The NFL MVP and two-time All-Pro has officially signed a media deal with Skydance Sports, a prominent entertainment production studio, to develop a diverse slate of scripted, unscripted, and branded content.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Allen’s new partnership will focus on storytelling projects that align with his personal brand and vision.
“I’m excited to partner with a world-class organization like Skydance Sports to further my creative ambitions through storytelling,” Allen said in a statement. “Utilizing my platform to do good and be good is very important to me, and Skydance is an excellent partner who can help me achieve this goal through the creation of compelling content that aims to inspire.”
A New Chapter for Josh Allen
While Allen is best known for his dominance on the football field, this latest move signals an expansion of his career into entertainment and media. His growing profile, both as an athlete and a public figure, makes him a valuable asset for Skydance, which has already worked with top-tier athletes to create impactful sports content.
The timing couldn’t be better. Fresh off an MVP-winning 2024 season, Allen led the Bills back to the AFC Championship Game against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, coming up just three points short of Buffalo’s first Super Bowl appearance since 1994.
Now, as he prepares for another championship run, Allen is also laying the groundwork for a long-term presence in media, following in the footsteps of other star athletes who have successfully made the transition.

Hollywood Sees Star Potential
Allen’s off-the-field profile has also been steadily rising. His high-profile relationship with actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld has fueled speculation that he could be eyeing a Hollywood crossover in the future.
Earlier this year, a source told Life & Style magazine that entertainment executives are taking notice of the 28-year-old quarterback’s natural charisma and presence.
“Josh has the total package,” the insider revealed. “From primetime-worthy football highlights to matinee-idol good looks. And Hailee has already managed to have a very impressive crossover career where she can effortlessly move from music to movies and back again.”
With Skydance now backing him, Allen has the opportunity to craft his own narrative and showcase a different side of his personality beyond the NFL.
A Growing Trend in Athlete-Driven Media
Allen is the latest in a growing list of superstar athletes to venture into entertainment production. LeBron James’ SpringHill Company, Tom Brady’s 199 Productions, and Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions have all demonstrated how athletes can successfully transition into the media world by telling their own stories.
Skydance, known for its work in both sports and entertainment, will likely help Allen develop projects that go beyond the traditional sports documentary format. Whether that means personal documentaries, scripted series, or broader storytelling projects, Allen’s media career is officially in motion.
What’s Next?
For now, Allen’s primary focus remains on football, as he looks to bring Buffalo its first Super Bowl title. But with this new partnership, his long-term future in entertainment is already taking shape.
With NFL dominance, Hollywood buzz, and now a media deal with one of the biggest production studios in sports, Josh Allen isn’t just a star on the field—he’s positioning himself to be a major player off of it as well.
