Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe gave a savage response when asked about an Auburn star claiming they will not lose to their bitter rivals this weekend while also seeing superstar wide receiver Ryan Williams called out.

Alabama will face their biggest rivals in Auburn on Saturday in what is the final game of the college football regular season, with Bama needing a win to make it into the postseason. But Auburn freshman linebacker DeMarcus Riddick stated that he won’t allow Milroe‘s team to walk away with the victory this weekend.

Riddick told reporters this week: “In my eyes, he (Williams) ain’t really nobody to me. I will not lose to Bama while I’m here.”

When becoming aware of his words, Milroe savagely responded when asked: “Honestly, I don’t even know who that is. Let him talk. That’s a part of it. It’s all about executing what we need to do so we can be our best us.”

The aforementioned Williams is having one of the most impressive freshman seasons that college football has seen from a wide receiver, with eight touchdowns and 804 receiving yards in his first year since leaving high school – already on NFL radars while not being eligible until 2027.

Alabama has a 8-3 record while Auburn sits at 5-6, with the former being the big favorites heading into the game, with Riddick’s quotes raising eyebrows.

Like Williams, Riddick is also in his freshman season – impressing as a starter with the team with three sacks and 17 solo tackles – seen as one of the top prospects in the 2027 draft class alongside the Bama receiver.

Despite them being the underdogs, Auburn quarterback Payton Thorne is coming off his best game of the season so far, throwing for 301 yards while completing 62% of passes against Texas A&M.

Meanwhile, Milroe will hope to impress in what could be his final regular season game of his collegiate career, with him set to have the choice of whether to declare for the NFL Draft or return for his senior year.
