Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback turned NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw attempted to joke off a correction after misstating the Kansas City Chiefs record against the Buffalo Bills. Co-host Michael Strahan quickly caught the error, But Bradshaw tried to turn the moment into a joke as the panel wasted no time attempting to move forward in the show.
During a discussion about the Chiefs’ first loss of the season to the Bills last week, Bradshaw was asked by Curt Menafee if he was worried about Kansas City’s Super Bowl three-peat hopes. “No, not at all. Absolutely not,” Bradshaw replied confidently. “The 1972 Dolphins, they’re excited that Kansas City lost. But Kansas City always loses to Buffalo. That’s no shocker. They’re 4-1 against Buffalo.”
Bradshaw’s comment caused a pause at the desk, as they elected not to cut off his analysis. He gave the Chiefs an incorrect winning record over the Bills with Mahomes at QB, contradicting his entire point about Buffalo’s dominance in the budding rivalry.

Strahan sat engaged at the desk, seemingly waiting to step in and make a correction. “You said they always lose to Buffalo but then said 4-1. That’s winning,” Strahan joked. Bradshaw realized his mistake but attempted to deflect with humor by saying, “I did say it. I just didn’t speak it.” The moment drew light laughs from the desk before quickly transitioning to the next segment.
As the panel laughed off the exchange, the cameras cut to co-host Jay Glazer, who shifted focus to his “Inside Scoop” segment, and Bradshaw continued stating his case. Glazer provided updates on key injuries, including San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy’s throwing shoulder, to bring the conversation back to serious football analysis and to do his part to ensure that the mix-up didn’t derail the segment.
Bradshaw’s NFL analysis this season falls in order with his online reputation for adding a playful side to broadcasting, especially alongside Strahan. During Week 6, Strahan was inducted into the Texas Southern University Sports Hall of Fame, a historically Black college he attended, where he earned two SWAC Defensive Player of the Year honors.

The four-time Super Bowl champion pretended he also attended the school and was inducted into their legend’s quarters. Strahan joked back and said, “We would have known. You would have stood out,” as the internet was critical of Bradshaw for stealing the former Giants defender’s moment.
Bradshaw also stunned his co-hosts five games into the New Orleans Saints’ seven-game losing streak this season, attributing the slump to voodoo. “I called, and I said listen, down in Louisiana, where the tall pine trees grow, lives a voodoo lady named Marie Laveau,” he said. “I called Marie Laveau. She took her pot. She went into the Saints. They put all that potion in there.”
Menafee cut Bradshaw off, questioning which liquids were in his cup during the broadcast. Strahan appeared completely shocked during the segment, adding yet another moment to their TV careers.
